The Sturdy Beggars are a three piece Traditional Irish band comprising of:
Seamus Curley - Vocals,guitar,mandola,
Mat Walklate- Whistles/harmonicas/flutes/ uilleann pipes/vocals
Anthony Haller - Double bass.
This is our core line-up but we regularly add other instrumentalists as required. We can offer a choice of fiddle, melodeon, bodhran, keyboards and drums.
If clients require a ceilidh band we can also offer the services of a professional caller to call the dances in addition to the core line-up.
